Mondicaffè from Rome - What a wonderful discovery.
We were immediately thrilled when we tried this coffee for the first time. We were particularly taken by Mondicaffè's THE BOCS. Normally, 100% Arabica isn't really our main choice, but once again, the exceptions prove the rule.
This roaster can rightly be described as small and refined. Franco Mondi continues what his father started in 1959. A small bar in the heart of Rome was the starting point for his roasting business.

A coffee expert friend drew our attention to this fabulous roaster. In 1959, Franco Mondi's father opened a BAR in Rome with the idea of roasting his own coffee. The small roasting company is a founding member of the CSC (Caffè Speciali Certificati). A certificate whose high standards give the assurance that the strictest quality criteria are respected, from the plantation to your cup. Don't be fooled by the new, modernised packaging. This coffee is roasted in the traditional way and embodies the decades of experience of a ‘coffee maniac’. Franco Mondi loves and lives for his creations. See for yourself.
